Project Need
Our team is planning to address the wide gender gap of women in the STEM field. There are approximately 24% of women who are a part of STEM and even so, most are Caucasian women so we wish to provide more diversity. Through our programs, we will help girls develop their creativity and critical thinking skills, and encourage them to explore and innovate.

Our Engagement
Reflection :
After our first educational event, we found that many of the participants were excited learn more about STEM and Engineering. We received a lot positive feedback on the hands-on learning activities that we provided from past engineering classes. However, we also recognized that the event was somewhat chaotic and we need to improve our organization and time management for future events. Overall, it was a success, as it engaged many girls in the community and motivated them to explore STEM fields further.
